Custom order was shipped 9 Business days after order. Windows are perfect. I will definitely order from here again. It was very easy to order the right Custom Window. I thought it would take a long time to receive custom windows. My local building supply wanted 2 times the money and over 45 days for delivery.

Second time around with American Windows. We had previously purchased and installed a number of wood windows in a classic CA redwood barn and they were precisely constructed, strong, and attractive. The packaging for shipping was great.
After installing these windows, we had one orphan aluminum frame window that looked pathetic, so we purchased a custom-sized window to replace it. All in, it was about two weeks from order to arrival.
When it was delivered, my wife noticed damage to the box and had the FedEx driver wait until she inspected it. No damage to the window. We're very happy customers

Beats painting! A couple points interest- these are extruded (hollow) PVC- not suitable for trimming to fit. The thickness of the old hoppers was 1 3/8", so I needed to adjust hinges. All in all, they worked out well.

Love the look of the wood windows. Will be great addition to my new barn. One comment though. The product description does not indicate if the pine windows will be made using finger jointed pine or not. It is specified in the FAQ section of the website that they "can" come finger jointed but MANY come non-finger jointed. Well, mine did come finger jointed and of course it takes away a bit of the value of the windows, especially because I plan to stain and not paint the wood. Wish we would have the choice.
