We looked for reasonably priced, authentic barn sashes for some time before finding these. The quality exceeded our expectations - great value! The screw assembly really helps with the painting, too.

Window design is just what I was looking for to restore the original look to my "remuddled" barn. Very happy with price and the timeliness of the shipment.

To say my wife and I were impressed with the windows we ordered would be an understatement.
Excellent Quality - Very pleased we purchased.

Wanted a sample window (one of your standard sizes). Received in 5 days which was impressive. Seriously considering windows for an addition and for retrofitting of existing home. Price appears very good, Great product. Hope custom sizes won’t be much more in terms of cost

When I bought 12 of these windows, I was not aware that the wood frames were made from finger joint pine. I don't understand why finger jointing is cheaper than using whole pieces of pine for such short pieces in the window frame. We did use a darker stain and from a distance the wood grain variation at the jointing, isn't to noticeable. Overall; the price including shipping was still very reasonable and the quality of construction was good.

The panes move around quite a bit inside their muntins. The wood is NOT suitable for staining. Multiple stock pieces are fused to make a single stile, thus interrupting the grains. The wood quality (and change up of grains, as above) leads to very uneven absorption of stain. Not an issue with light stains, but again, the change-up of wood stock mid-stile basically precludes using lighter tints.
I would happily pay more for better quality. At $32 there is plenty of room to keep a more usable product affordable. Find myself wishing I'd gotten the Jeld-Wen barn sash (for nearly triple this).
Having said this, the service was excellent, and the delivery very prompt.

It is not easy to find natural wood barn sash windows. Most mainstream retailers have gone to vinyl windows. I was lucky to find these on-line, and they are really nice looking. They will be used in a new garage adjacent to an old log cabin with similar style windows. These windows will fit perfectly. Delivery was less than 2 weeks.
