I purchased this window not expecting a finger-jointed frame, and wished that was communicated. 4 finger joints in a 24" span doesn't work for my plan of staining them, but could work for painting.

I received my windows and they are perfect fit. The only reason I cannot give a five star rating is because I called and left a message after receiving the windows and have not yet received a call. One of the windows has broken glass and I wanted to get a replacement.

These windows are great. They said to allow for 1/2" but they were right on the money with the requested size. Also 3/8" per side for adjusting your out of square frame.

It's nice to find traditional barn sash windows available, especially in custom sizes. My order was delivered promptly and in good condition. My only (minor) quibble is that the frames are assembled from many small pieces of wood glued together with finger-joints, rather than from one piece. Perhaps this will assure a warp-free window over time, but I wonder if the finger-joint splices will someday come apart.

Haven't installed yet but the product looks good and is well made.
