The window frame size is recommended to be 1/2" less than rough opening

I couldn't be happier with this purchase. The windows (custom sized wood sash) arrived very quickly, in good condition. They were packaged very well. They look very well constructed, made of unfinished finger jointed pine which is fine, because they will be painted. I will be using these as windows in a shed that I'm refurbishing. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone in need of simple sash.

I didn't realize the edges would be grooved out and hollow. I thought a wood window would be solid WOOD all around. Disappointing!

Sash frame needs to be solid on all sides. Top of sash has a groove with no wood. Makes sash weak at the top.
