1. Good Experience with this company

   My window arrived about 4 days before the estimated time of delivery- which was very cool. The window was a white vinyl custom-sized slider with the "high performance" glass. Having experience in the window/glass industry I can say the product was exactly what I expected. No issues with shipping or damage for me. I have now purchased three different windows from American and have had a good experience each time- thanks!

2. Nice product

   I purchased two custom sized windows and they where delivered right at the three week mark. The windows where damaged when I opened them. Both screens one torn the other bent and a broken latch. I contacted American window and within a week new screens and a latch arrived. I was ready to leave a bad review but can't with that service. I plan on ordering another basement window after seeing the ones I ordered...

3. Not Quite What I Expected

   I was a little discouraged at the fact that the stationary part of the window moved when I opened the slider part. Also, as I move the slider, it doesn't move easily, and catches in a way that causes the slider to be "cock-eyed" as I try to move it. This can be a problem since I'll be installing this window above the shower/tub surround in my bathroom. On a more positive note, the packaging for the window left little room for damage during shipping.

4. Great windows

   I ordered the basement window with sliding glass to replace my old jalosi windows. I had to order a custom size. The replacement windows fit perfectly and look great! I notice a huge difference in the reduction of noise from outside, and the difference in the lack of drafts from the old windows. Function of the windows is perfect. Will be ordering more to replace the other two windows in the basement. Very satisfied with the product, price and service.

   I ordered one of these windows to replace old jalosii windows in my basement. It fit perfectly, had a custom size. Window is well built and should do a great job of keeping the cold out. Have already ordered another to replace other window.

   I ordered these online and had someone install them and I could not be happier. From the time I ordered the windows to the time they were delivered, I found it easy and the delivery was exactly as they stated and on time. I would not hesitate to replace windows any other way!

    If you’re looking for a durable, inexpensive basement window, this is is it. Bought one to test and fit perfect. Ordered custom and came to exact measurements. Ordered three more to finish the job.
