These need no painting and fit fine with a little leveling and trimming
Could use simple suggestions with windows.
Good FAQ on line but I do like instructions.

Followed the directions in measuring up my rough openings in my 100 year old Vermont home. Two casement windows in the basement. Placed my order and received the windows a couple weeks later as promised. The windows fit perfectly and were built to allow for the an easy installation. These windows are very good for the price. Not the best but very adequate and easy to install. Great customer service as one window I ordered had glass broken on one of the sliders. Called and sent pic and I received replacement in 3 days. Would definitely buy again, especially for basement windows

Used as replacement windows in my basement. They fit first time and the difference is amazing. Feel much safer now as the old steel hoppers were death traps waiting to happen. Saved myself almost $2000 dollars over what the window companies wanted, and that was the low bid.

These windows are exactly what I needed to replace 4 original metal framed, small hopper windows on my 70 year-old house that I've lived in for 40 years. I never felt comfortable to leave my basement windows open for any reason. It can't be finished legally for a living space due to height, but I do my laundry and ironing down there. Right now with the extreme heat wave we're experiencing I know it will help with air circulation to rid dampness and keep the critters and bugs out and I can't ask for anything more than that.
